Terms and Conditions for Student Athlete Foundation Scholarships and Educational Enrichments

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the scholarship and educational enhancement programs ("Programs") provided by Student Athlete Foundation, a nonprofit organization ("Organization") dedicated to promoting education by offering academic or athletic financial assistance to student-athletes in need and educational enrichments for students attending Parisi Academy. By applying for or participating in these programs, applicants and schools ("Participants") agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.


1. Eligibility for Scholarship and Educational Enrichments

a. Scholarship Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the Organization’s scholarships:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited school or educational institution.
  • Demonstrate financial need as per the Organization’s application guidelines. 
  • Meet any specific academic, personal character, or extracurricular requirements as outlined in the scholarship application.
  • Submit a completed application along with any required documentation, such as transcripts, letters of recommendation, or essays. 

b. Educational Enrichment  Eligibility
Parisi Academy may request educational enhancement funds for the following purposes:

  • Curriculum enrichment.
  • Technology, supplies, or equipment to improve learning outcomes.
  • Student development initiatives.
  • Other educational enhancements as defined by the Foundation.
    Schools must provide evidence of how the funds will be used to benefit students’ education and athletic goals. 

2. Application Process

a. Scholarship Application
All scholarship applications are required to be submitted by the designated deadline, accompanied by the necessary supporting documents. The Foundation reserves the authority to reject or revoke applications if the applicant does not meet or maintain the required criteria, even if the scholarship has already been granted.

b. School Enrichment Request
Schools seeking educational enrichment must submit a detailed proposal, including a budget and justification for the use of funds. Proposals will be reviewed and considered based on their alignment with the Organization’s mission.

3. Award Disbursement

a. Scholarships
Scholarships will be awarded based on merit and need, and funds will be disbursed directly to the educational institution or to the recipient as outlined in the scholarship offer letter. Scholarships are non-transferable.

b. Educational Enhancements
The funds for educational enhancements will be distributed to the designated school based on the approved proposal and according to the terms outlined in the agreement between the school and the Organization.

4. Use of Funds

a. Scholarships
Scholarship funds must be used exclusively for educational or athletic purposes, such as tuition and fees. Any other use of funds, such as for living expenses, is not allowed.

b. Educational Enrichments
Funds provided for educational enhancements must be used strictly for the purposes outlined in the approved proposal. The school must provide receipts and reports demonstrating that the funds have been used appropriately.

5. Non-Discrimination Policy

The Organization is committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. Scholarships and educational enhancements will be awarded without discrimination based on race, color, national origin, gender, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by law.

6. Reporting and Accountability

a. Scholarships
Scholarship recipients may be required to submit progress reports or academic updates to the Foundation. Failure to maintain the required academic standing may result in the withdrawal of the scholarship.

b. Educational Enrichments
Schools receiving educational funds are required to submit a report on how the funds were used, including any measurable outcomes or improvements resulting from the enhancements. The Organization reserves the right to audit the use of funds.

7. Termination of Participation

a. Scholarships
The Foundation reserves the right to terminate a scholarship if the recipient fails to meet academic, behavioral, or other criteria outlined in the scholarship agreement or if the recipient is found to have misused the scholarship funds.

b. Educational Enrichments
If a school fails to use the educational funds as specified in the approved proposal or violates the terms of this Agreement, the Organization may request the return of the funds and terminate the enhancement award.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Foundation shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising out of the scholarship or educational enrichment programs, including but not limited to any direct or indirect losses related to the misuse of funds or failure to meet eligibility requirements.

9. Modification of Terms

The Foundation reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes, and continued participation in the Programs will constitute acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of New Jersey, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from the interpretation or enforcement of these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration, as determined by the Organization.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

The Organization respects the privacy of all applicants and schools. Personal data submitted in the application process will be used only for the purposes of administering the scholarship and educational enhancement programs. All personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.


Terms and Conditions for Use of Student-Athletes’ Images and Information
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the use of images, video, audio, and personal information of student-athletes (“Student-Athletes”) by the Student Athlete Foundation, a nonprofit organization registered in the State of New Jersey (“Organization”).

By providing consent (as detailed below), the Student-Athlete (or their parent/guardian, if under 18) agrees to the terms outlined herein.


1. Purpose of Use

The Foundation may use photographs, video footage, biographical information (e.g., name, school, grade, sports played), and athletic achievements of Student-Athletes for the following purposes:

  • Promotional materials (flyers, brochures, banners)
  • Digital marketing (websites, email newsletters, social media)
  • Press releases and media outreach
  • Fundraising campaigns and donor reports
  • Event programs and publications 

2. Scope of Consent

By signing a Media Release Form, the Student-Athlete (or guardian) grants the Organization the non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable right to use, reproduce, publish, and distribute the content in any format or medium for promotional purposes.

This consent includes:

  • Full name and likeness
  • Voice or performance in recorded materials
  • Athletic statistics and background information 

3. No Compensation

The student-athlete (or guardian) understands and agrees that no monetary compensation will be provided for the use of the images or information now or in the future.

4. Duration

This consent will remain valid unless revoked in writing. A student-athlete (or guardian) may revoke consent at any time by providing written notice to the Foundation. However, revocation will not apply to materials already in use or published prior to the date of the revocation.

5. Data Privacy & Safeguards

The Foundation will not disclose sensitive personal information (e.g., home address, phone number, or academic records) without explicit, separate written permission. All materials will be used respectfully and in accordance with applicable privacy laws and nonprofit best practices.

6. Ownership and Rights

All promotional materials produced by the Foundation that incorporate the student-athlete’s image or information shall remain the sole property of the Organization.

7. Indemnification

The Student-Athlete (or guardian) agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the Foundation from any claims, liabilities, or damages that may arise from the use of the content as authorized in this Agreement.

8. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey.

9. Acknowledgement

By signing the Media Release Form, the student-athlete (or guardian) acknowledges that they have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and voluntarily agree to their terms.

By submitting an application or participating in any of the Foundation's Programs, the participant acknowledges and agrees to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
