Our main emphasis is on, though not exclusively, 8th-grade students looking to attend Parisi Academy and first-year high school student-athletes in the NJ/NY area. This opportunity is specifically designed to provide financial aid to eligible student-athletes who are pursuing their academic and athletic goals through tuition assistance. 

A student-athlete from the NJ/NY area, along with their family, is required to fill out the S|A Scholarship Application,  and fulfill specified criteria, provide Federal Income Tax Returns, submit an unofficial transcript reflecting their current grade level, present documentation of financial aid received from other educational institutions, and agree to take part in promotional activities for The Foundation (both the student-athlete and their family). Failure to submit any of these may lead to the application not being reviewed.

Official Submission Window for review of application: 

Entering Parisi Academy students have a rolling submission window. Those entering as freshmen to their respective high schools have a deadline of January 25th. All documents and forms must be completed and submitted at the same time. All applications will not be received or reviewed after May 15th. Applicants must wait until the following September to reapply.
 

Notice of awarded scholarship: 

Applications for incoming Parisi Academy students will be notified within 30 days of the most recent date of the documents submitted. 

Applications for students entering high school will be notified by February 5th to let their respective high schools know of acceptance by February 6th.

If you are chosen as one of our scholarship recipients, please notify the Foundation of your acceptance within two weeks of receiving your acceptance letter. Due to limited funding, scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. If we do not receive your response within this timeframe, we will need to consider other applicants.

The Foundation will provide partial financial assistance that is entirely supported by our fundraising and donation initiatives. Annually, the quantity of scholarships available may vary, which means we could potentially award one, multiple, or even none. These scholarships are allocated according to the financial needs of student-athletes, the applications submitted, and a demonstrated need basis.

If you are granted tuition assistance, please be aware that you can only receive it for the requested year. Should you not have received tuition assistance for that year, you are encouraged to apply again for the subsequent calendar school year. Kindly remember that you will need to complete the entire application process and provide any new relevant documents as stipulated by the scholarship guidelines.

Parisi Academy provides a structured year prior to entering high school, focused on preparing a student-athlete for the challenges, both academically and athletically, he/she will face. Some student-athletes benefit from a ““gap-year” between middle and high school and therefore choose to repeat their 8th grade year with the Parisi Academy. Other student-athletes simply use their actual 8th grade year with the Parisi Academy as their preparation for high school.

Interested families register their student-athlete as a homeschool student with their school district and utilize the Parisi Academy as their home school learning option. The Parisi Academy provides the necessary paperwork and transcripts required for both public and private schools during the application process and at the end of the school year.
